Cinnamon :

To a cup of warm water, mix one-half to one tsp. cinnamon powder and drink every day. Another option is to take 2-4 cinnamon sticks and boil them in a cup of water. Boil this solution for 20 minutes and drink every day to see improvement.
Bitter gourd :
It has blood glucose lowering effects and can be helpful for controlling blood sugar level. It can help to increase pancreatic insulin secretion. Bitter gourd can be good for type 1 and 2 diabetes.
Try to drink bitter gourd juice empty stomach every morning. To make the juice, first, remove the seeds of bitter gourd and extract the juice with a juicer. You can follow this every day for at least few months. Or you can add one dish of bitter gourd in your everyday diet.
Fenugreek :
This herb can be helpful for controlling diabetes and lowering blood sugar levels. It can stimulate the secretion of insulin.
In water soak 2 tsp. fenugreek seeds (methi dana) and keep it overnight. Next morning drink this water along with seeds empty stomach. You can follow this for few months to low down blood sugar levels. Another option is to eat fenugreek seed powder with milk on regular basis.
Amla :
Amla is rich in vitamin C and juice of amla can help to promote proper functioning of the pancreas.
Take 2-3 fresh amla, remove their seeds and grind them into a fine paste. Then put the paste into a fine cloth and squeeze out the juice. To a cup of water mix two tsp. of this juice and drink every day on empty stomach.
Black plum (Jamun) :
Jamun can help in controlling the levels of blood sugar. Every part of a Jamun plant like leaves, berry, and seed are helpful for controlling diabetes. The fruits and seeds of this plant can help to reduce blood and urine sugar levels.
Try to include this fruit in your diet whenever this seasonal fruit is available in the market. This fruit is effective for the pancreas. Another option is to dry the seeds of Jamun fruit and make powder of them. Eat this powder with warm water two times in a day.
Mango leaves :
The soft mango leaves can be helpful in treating diabetes as it regulates the level of insulin in the body.
In a glass of water soak 10-15 soft mango leaves and leave it overnight. Next morning, filter the water and drink on empty stomach. Or you can dry the mango leaves and grind them. Then eat one-half tsp. of this powder of leaves two times in a day on regular basis.
Curry leaves :
Curry leaves have the anti-diabetic properties and can be helpful in controlling diabetes. There’s a belief that an ingredient of curry leaf can lower the rate of breakdown of starch into glucose. This is helpful for the patients of diabetes.
So, you can chew fresh 10 curry leaves every day in the morning. For better results, continue this treatment for three to four months.
Guava :
Eating guava can be helpful in maintaining blood sugar level because of its vitamin C and high fiber. For patients with diabetes, it is best to not eat the skin of the fruit so peel it first. However, we don’t recommend for eating too many guavas in a day.
